Welcome to PetMoment Log (the "App", bundle ID: com.pawnote.project). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

PetMoment Log is a personal utility application designed for cat and dog owners to record small pet interaction incidents (e.g., scratches, bites, bumps), attach photos, and set follow-up reminders.

Important Disclaimer: The App is for personal record-keeping only. It is not a medical tool and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or veterinary consultation. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for any health or behavioral concerns regarding your pet.

2. In-App Purchases and Points

The App utilizes a virtual currency system ("Points") to unlock additional usage limits.

• Free Limits: Users are granted a certain amount of free usage, including up to 15 events, 5 follow-up reminders, and 2 pet profiles.
• Using Points: Exceeding these limits requires the expenditure of Points (e.g., 10 Points per extra record, 15 Points per follow-up reminder, 20 Points per export card, 250 Points per extra pet slot).
• Purchasing Points: Points can be purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's App Store terms and conditions.
• Non-Refundable: All purchases of Points are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's policies. Points have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

3. Account Deletion and Data Loss

Because PetMoment Log stores data locally on your device:

• If you use the "Delete Account" feature, or if you delete the App from your device, all your pet profiles, event logs, photos, and your Points balance will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
• We are not responsible for any data loss, including the loss of purchased Points, resulting from device formatting, App deletion, or device loss/damage.

4. User Content and Conduct

You are solely responsible for the content you record, import, or generate using the App. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose. Since your data is not synced to a central server, you alone control the sharing of any exported event cards.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, code, graphics, and text, are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; or (c) any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
